Accounting Jobs

When you think of accounting jobs, the first things that come to mind are numbers. Accountants are not just involved with numbers or are number crunchers; they are critical thinkers too. This is especially true when these individuals take on management positions where they are responsible for a number of tasks and must work well with people. Other accounting jobs include financial management and planning, financial reporting, analytics, and recruiting. You could be an analyst in one of many fields such as taxation.

There are also IT jobs: accounting and information technology are married to one another. Any kind of job these days seems to involve computers, and accountants typically do have a lot of data to work through. They could not do it without computers, so technology is a big part of their lives. Accountants also become software designers if they can marry IT and accounting skills.

Food Diary from the Bodytrim Pack

Both my hubby and I have been trying to lose weight lately but I am not making much progress. I already started my diet and exercise a few weeks ago but quickly got off track. My hubby, on the other hand, is doing well with his diet. He has lost almost thirty pounds in the last six months. Neither one of us are taking any diet supplements. We are just following some natural weight loss tips that we think are going to work for us and are safe.

It is very difficult to lose weight fast and much easier to gain weight. Sometimes it has gotten to the point that I have considered taking some weight loss supplements so that I can lose a few pounds. My hubby told me that I am not that fat, I am just pleasingly plump but I think I am. Though I am not really concerned about the few pounds that I have gained, it is my bulging belly that I really don't like. I feel like I have gained a lot of weight in that area.

One of the things that I have been trying to do to lose my stomach fat is outdoor activities but it seems like that is not enough. Losing weight is really a struggle for most of us but I'm not giving up yet and I still keep looking for a quick weight loss guide online. At the linked website, you can find helpful information and professional advice in order to shed those extra pounds. I agree that food intake is one of the most difficult things to manage in our lives and a healthy diet can sometimes be both frustrating and challenging when trying to stick by it.

At the linked website, they also talk about using a food diary from the Bodytrim pack. By using a food diary, you are able to keep track of what you are eating, the reasons you're eating those foods and that helps you get in tune with your true hunger cues. A food diary is a very powerful tool to help you become more up to date with your eating habits. It will also help the dietitian understand your eating behaviors and be able to give you advice and assist you through your weight loss journey. I find it a great weight loss instrument for someone like me who wants to lose weight fast. During the winter season is usually when I gain a lot of weight. The cold weather makes me eat more and I am also physically inactive.

I love to garden. Unfortunately, I can’t do that all year round here in northern Minnesota. During the summers, I have a vegetable garden and because my flowers are in pots I keep them growing year round.

Organic Plant Food

One of the things that my hubby got me excited about lately is the idea of moving to a tropical country. It means that I can garden and keep the plants growing all year round. The place that we are planning to move to is an urban area and the soil isn’t that great. We will need organic soil and organic plant food to get the plants going. Those who live out on a farm are fortunate because they have animals that produce natural organic fertilizer for a garden. They can use composted animal manure and left over plant detritus to fertilize the garden.

Whitney Farms® has a full line of 100% natural plant foods and soils with no additives, nothing artificial, just ingredients from the Earth, designed to give you big, beautiful flowers and veggies. My plants need plant foods and organic soil as you can see in the photo below. I need to get some the next time I go to the store. Whitney Farms® could be the solution to our gardening problems.

If your plants are looking like the ones in the picture above, I encourage you to give Whitney Farms® products a try. They are now offering a $3 rebate coupon, just go to their site. Advertisement

Tasty Wellness Drink

This year we are getting an early start on our fishing season. The great and unseasonably warm weather has been the main reason but my hubby's improved health has also made a big difference. Last year at this time, he ended up in the hospital after suffering from inflammation in his back, legs and feet. The doctors never could figure out what was wrong with him and he has pretty much totally given up on them and their pharmaceuticals. Most of the drugs they gave him either did nothing or made him worse. Since he has gotten off all of the pharmaceutical drugs he is feeling a lot better. Recently, he has been trying several natural products and seems to be getting some relief.

We recently ran across this product called Nopalea that is made from the flowers of the Nopal cactus plant. They say that it taste like a fruit juice and contains many rare and potent antioxidants that have been scientifically proven to help the body reduce inflammation. The twelve year old company that produces the product has sold over three million bottles so far and is currently offering a free bottle for the cost of shipping and handling. If you would like to give it a try give them a call at 1-800-203-7063.

Games for iPhone, iPads and Android

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of AppGear for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

My niece in Germany is two and a half years old now and growing up really fast. She is very precocious and active and really enjoyed the Barbie Dolls DVD that I sent her on her last birthday. I am thinking that next year I will get her something that will be a little more interactive instead of just having something to watch. My sister is really into the latest phone apps and computer tech stuff so my niece has a lot of techie things that she will be playing with soon I am sure.

I ran across a company called AppGear that is starting to produce a whole line of interactive games for kids that can be played on most digital mobile devices. They are currently in the process of releasing a couple of new games called Foam Fighters and ZombieBurbz this month with four more titles coming in the next three months.

The company behind App Gear is WowWee which has been a leader in all kinds of innovative toys and consumer electronics for years. They are now entering the area of applications for digital mobile electronics. The games that they are developing are primarily for 21st century kids who have access to all kinds of cool electronic stuff that didn't even exist when we were growing up. The games will also have a line of collectible toys to promote all of the star characters of the games. I think that is the kind of thing that my niece is going to be into really soon.

Home Security

Up here in the north woods where we live, we don't have many concerns about home security. The most we have ever had to deal with was an occasional raccoon or bear getting into the garbage. I don't think that is something that most home security companies would be interested in protecting us from anyway. On top of that, we are home almost of the time since my hubby is retired and I work on the internet.

We are thinking about spending several months a year in the Philippines now though so maybe a home security system wouldn't be a bad thing to think about to help us make sure that our stuff is safe here while we are gone. Protection one is located in Lawrence, Kansas but they have offices and coverage in a lot of major cities around the country including Minneapolis. They are currently giving away a free ADT home security system with a $99 customer installation charge and purchase of the alarm monitoring services. That sounds like a pretty good deal since the home security system is valued at $850.

My first Home

This guest post from Lenny Mcknight

When I found an unbelievable deal on a house, I weighed my options. In this housing market, I could afford so much space and I was so tired of renting, after all. While I was partly terrified to live on my own and shoulder the responsibilities of home ownership, I took a leap of faith. I love my home and am putting so much effort in to making it mine. I made a very wise choice when I moved in—I made doing some research on ADT Security La Cienga one of my first priorities. After signing up for monitoring, I no longer worry about someone breaking in while I’m away, and love the peace of mind I have knowing that the home is being monitored while I sleep as well. I feel like the alarm company sign in my front yard is enough to scare away most people, and the piercing alarm itself should take care of the rest. I know I made the right decision, and thanks to the insane deal I got on the house, I should make a pretty incredible profit when I sell in the future!
